There are so many higher end, pricier options for dog carriers these days, as well as many low price selections (almost always low quality - my shih tzu chewed through 2, before she was even a year and a half!). Do not be fooled by the teddy bear - she can be ever persistent if she wants to be!
I had to get a new carrier; yet I simply had too many great options to choose from. Decision overload. I could go ultra high end luxury but, honestly, my shih tzu Bao Bao wouldn’t know the difference between an Hermes dog carrier from an Amazon box. She’d have just as much fun trying to gnaw through the thing.
I finally decided upon the Roverlund out of office carrier because of Roku the shih tzu, Bao Bao’s IG online friend. Roku is about the same size as her, they’re the same breed, and it came with high recommendations. I needed something tried and true, so this was the final factor! I literally ordered the same exact size and style.
From the get-go, I could already tell this was far sturdier and more durable than Bao Bao’s last two carriers. The handles are actual thick ropes (she loves that), there are caribeners, zippers are strong as heck … it just has an endurance quality to it. So far, so good! Hopefully she won’t chew through this one!
