Happy Valentine's Day, Roverlund love birds! In the spirit of this heart-filled holiday honoring companionship, we'd like you to meet a truly dynamic duo... Ellie and Titus aka @ellie_the_mini_mutt!
Read on for our interview with their parents about how this adorable pair of mini mutts live the true meaning of puppy love.
Q: Ellie, what do you love most about Titus, and how do you show it? 💞
A: Ellie loves that Titus doesn’t play with toys… so she gets all the toys in the toy basket to herself! She shows her love for him by giving him kisses on the face. 😘
Q: Titus, what do you love most about Ellie, and how do you show it?
A: Ellie provides companionship and Titus doesn’t like being alone. He shows how much he loves her by cuddling with her on the humans’ laps, on the bed, or in their Roverlund carrier.
Q: Ellie and Titus, if you were a famous duo from a movie who would you be? 🍿
A: They would be Timon and Pumba from “The Lion King.” 🦁Ellie very much resembles a meerkat and with his pink nose, Titus looks a little bit like a piglet and pigs and warthogs are related.
Q: Ellie and Titus, what is your favorite place you have gone in your Roverlund? ✈️
A: Titus is newer to the family so he hasn’t been on as many adventures as Ellie, but the most fun trip the two pups have gone on was a Texas road trip from where we live near Dallas to South Padre Island. The beach there is dog-friendly and they had so much fun! 🏖
Q: Do you have any plans to go somewhere fun in February?
A: We’ll see! Ellie is hoping to take a trip to Connecticut later this year but we will probably wait until it warms up a little. Some of our favorite places to go while we are there are New York City, Boston, Block Island, and Newport. 🚗
Q: Do you two travel in the same crate together? If so, how does that go?
A: Ellie and Titus like to spend time together in the same carrier, but if they are going to be traveling for an extended period of time with the carriers zipped closed then they will be in separate carriers.
Q: If you had to pick a song to describe your relationship, what would it be?
A: “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen. They are brother and sister (adoptive, although given how similar they look people have asked if they’re biological siblings) but they’re also best friends.💝
