I overall love the bag. I like the two side pockets and the back pocket for a laptop and or travel documents! We recently traveled to the UK and I was able to keep my dog's documents all in one place which was great. I also have shoulder issues so the backpack is much better than a one shoulder tote. I have a shitzu-pom mix that weighs 15lbs and she loves to be in her bag. I 100000% agree with the previous comment from @VTJessj that it would be great for some velcro tie backs, especially for the large opening in case you want to set the bag down and have the pup lay flat. We wished we had that option on the plane.
We purchased two Out-of-Office Pet Carrier Pro Editions for our 24 lb Frenchies for our upcoming flight to Hawaii, and we couldn’t be happier with them.
We’ve been getting our boys used to their Roverlund ahead of the trip, and they’re now completely comfortable settling inside. The carriers feel sturdy, secure, and thoughtfully designed, while still looking stylish and unlike traditional pet carriers. The Velcro strap keeps the carrier stable and secure on top of a suitcase.
Seeing our boys so relaxed in their Roverlund gives us so much peace of mind for our upcoming flight.
The new pro edition is a great improvement over my older Out-Of-Office carrier. The rope straps are much more comfortable for carrying and I love the addition of the luggage sleeve and upgraded mesh. I use it all the time in the car and running errands. I flew for the first time with it yesterday on Southwest. The carrier fit well under the middle and window seats. I took two 4 month old Cavapoo puppies. Both puppies currently weigh about 7-7.5 lbs each. They fit great inside the carrier together with room to spare. The airline let them travel in the same carrier which saved me from paying 2 pet fees. Highly recommend this carrier!

I traveled solo with my two terriers, a 6 kg mom and her 4 kg son, who are extremely closely bonded and this carrier made the entire trip so much easier and more successful than I expected.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much room they had in the carrier. Even with both dogs inside, there was still a little extra space. Of course, they couldn’t individually stand up and turn around, but they could move around together and switch positions when they wanted to. For two small dogs who strongly prefer being together, it worked extremely well.
Flying Southwest was also a great experience. The staff were very friendly and efficient when checking the carrier. I booked an Extra Legroom seat just to be safe, but the carrier fit very comfortably under the seat, with even a little room left on the side. I had been pretty nervous about managing my first flight alone with two dogs, but the entire process ended up being much easier than I expected.
I only have two suggestions for improvement.
First, my dogs chewed through part of the zipper on the first carrier I purchased while they were getting used to it. I contacted Roverlund to see if it could be repaired, and I was disappointed to learn that there isn’t currently a repair service available. Since the carrier itself is so well made and built to last, I would absolutely love to see a repair option offered in the future, especially for smaller components like zippers.
Second, I also purchased the matching luggage. The design is beautiful and the storage is excellent, and I think it would pair very well with the carrier for a dog under about 5–6 kg. However, with two dogs totaling about 10 kg in the carrier, I felt that the relatively narrow luggage could potentially become a little front-heavy when the carrier is attached. For this trip, I ended up using a wider expandable carry-on suitcase instead, and that combination worked amazingly well. If Roverlund ever redesigns the luggage, I think making it slightly wider or deeper for better stability with a heavier pet carrier would make an already beautiful product even more functional.
Overall, I am incredibly happy with this carrier. Traveling alone with two dogs sounded a little daunting at first, but this carrier genuinely made it manageable and helped make our trip a huge success. I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone traveling with a small dog and especially to anyone traveling solo with two tiny, closely bonded dogs like mine!

This travel carrier has quickly become one of our favorite travel essentials. We went with the Large so my dachshund has enough space to turn around and get comfortable, and he jumped right in from day one.
I love that it’s sturdy and structured enough to feel secure while still being comfortable, whether we’re traveling by plane, train, or just heading out for the day. The multiple ways to carry it make it easy to adapt depending on where we’re going, and there’s plenty of space for his essentials. This helped us figure out which brand and carrier so when I saw the reviews I felt more at ease with the comments and pictures. When I reached out to customer service , they went beyond with my questions and concerns and sent links with all kinds of help !
The Roverlund Pet Carrier Pro is handsome, sturdy and airline compatible. You pay more for it, sure, but it's worth it. I've been traveling with my 11lb dog for over two years in a popular alternative brand, and although it worked perfectly well, it started to tear at the seams and doesn't compare with the Roverlund (although the durable Roverlund is necessarily a bit heavier). If you have any doubts about this Pet Carrier's quality and value, put them aside - you won't be disappointed!

Just got off our flight from NYC to SFO and the carrier was brilliant! Out 17lb chihuahua mix was at home in the Large Pro Edition. Spacious and roomy and he could breathe! Thank you for the thoughtful design!
Bailey immediately went into her carrier and claimed it as her new handout spot. She has plenty of room to stretch out completely or curl up in a ball to fall asleep. We used it for a weekend trip by train and she would have been happy to stay inside the carrier the entire trip. Love the quality, style, and durabilty . Camo and orange look great together!
I wanted to leave this review because before flying, I spent so much time looking for someone with a dog around my beagle’s size. My beagle is 26 pounds and fit comfortably in this carrier. She was able to turn around with no issues, curl up, and relax throughout our flight. The quality is amazing, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone flying with a medium-sized dog!

My puppy was VERY comfortable in the carrier. It was our first time meeting so I was a little nervous (as was she) but I didn’t hear a peep out of her and she rested well in it. Ive since also purchased the shoulder carrier and just invested in the bookbag for my pup (which I can’t wait to try out). I love Roverland products.
This is our second capital OOO pet carrier, and we love it! It’s rugged and durable and gives us complete confidence when traveling with our cat. It’s also stylish and we get many compliments on it. Highly recommend.

I purchased this bag for my dog two years ago. We take our dog everywhere with us and fly Delta without issue. My dog is an 11 pound Bichon Frise. He can turn over and around in the bag. The air vents on the sides provides ample airflow. It is a beautifully crafted bag and of great quality.
I love everything about the pet carrier and have it in both sizes. My puppy sleeps in the larger one but we take the smaller one in the car. My only suggestion would be to offer a few lighter colors, esp. for car travel in the heat.
