So when we got our Chorkie puppy Coconut we said he was going to be well traveled. For our first trip to California I just bought a random pet carrier off of Amazon, which worked okay but for our next trip to Puerto Rico I wanted to make sure that he had the best pet carrier out there. He absolutely loves his Roverlund out-of-office carrier. It's well made, super comfortable for him. It is everything that I was hoping for.
Bought 3, one for each doxie, 1 for cat. Carriers are attractive and functional. I like the shoulder strap/leashes, pocket, 2 entry points, collapsible. We're moving across country in a few months. I'm stressed out of my mind about them. My doxies are naughty, noisy. We had to order large, smalls weren't available. Kitty did great in it last week to the vet. Each dog weighs about 15lbs, and long spines. They fit well in their carriers. We'll be practicing a lot of car rides in these before the flight day. Wish us well, it will be American Airlines and they are sticklers...I think the carriers may be about 1/2 inch longer or taller than their limits !
The carrier is very well made and my puppy immediately loved it. I highly recommend it.
The jacket is super cute. I like the herness is under the jacket. My Cavapoo weighs 13 lb and size M fits well. I also bought the pink pet carrier recommended by my friend. It's well made and great for travel in the car and plane.
This was first--and probably only--time I had to fly with a dog so was unsure how it would all work out and therefore asked a few questions of Roverlund. They were very helpful and put my mind at rest. It all worked out beautifully! I also got the cart with wheels, and boy was that a game changer! Worth every single penny for the additional cost.

Fantastic experience with our Westie. First flight ever and it worked out so well. Archie had a size large, which was snug on our return flight on Delta. No issues with TSA, the gates, or the flight crew. And the combo with the roll-aboard was the bee’s knees. We had a couple cheeky peeks during the flight. Archie really took to the carrier. I’d give an extra star if I could.
I received my dog bag 2 days ago, I am very happy with the way it looks, the quality of the materials is also great. However, it turned out that the edge of the lid was poorly stitched and diverged effortlessly when closing the lid. I had to carry the bag for repairs on the first day to fix the seam. However, my pinscher is happy to have this carrier.
Very well made, it held my 23 pound corgi perfectly.
My 15 lb Chihuahua mixed-breed Calvin hasn't flown before. I wanted the largest carrier possible for his comfort and this one fit the bill. We practiced using the carrier for about 10 days and he was ready to go. I like the zipper pocket for treats and a leash. He seemed comfortable and I didn't have any trouble fitting the carrier under the seat in front of me (standard leg room Southwest Airlines window seat x 4 legs of flights).
This carrier is extremely well made! The wheel base is so easy to use and lightweight. I ordered another carrier from a different company and there was no comparison. I am happy I discovered Roverlund.
Very sturdy and attractive, but quite a bit heavier than the large Sherpa bag I have been using. The braided shoulder strap is an improvement as it stays in place.
Large size, fit perfect under SWA seat. Fiona was a happy camper.
This wagon/stroller saved my back through the airport with my cat in his carrier. It’s easy to maneuver, and stores in the overhead bin. The handle is retractable as well. A great purchase!!
The carrier was amazing! Not only did it fit under the seat, there was space for my new puppy as needed! She traveled like a pro because of it! Thank you a thousand times!
Very impressed with the build quality and features. Our 30lbs French Bulldog Ferdie has gotten used to sitting in it already and likes it (we bribed him to get in a few times with treats) and he's repeatedly fallen asleep in it so we know he fits. We are yet to take him on a plane with it, but it looks to be plenty durable for his trips to and from Hawaii.
I’ve been traveling with carry-on pets for two decades and never had a trip as smooth as after I got this base. Made traveling through the airport and making connections a breeze. Everyone was jealous of her setup for sure.
Would prefer it if the leash on the interior of the case were removable. I bought this for a cat and it just gets in the way. Otherwise sturdy design and easy to carry.
Bought a carrier from this brand years ago but just bought a new one for my other pup and let’s just say - she travels better than me. Move over first class, here we come.
Maggie is 20 lbs, Pugalier (Pug/King Charles). Very agreeable dog so it was relatively easy to coach her (with treats) into the carrier. No air travel yet but initial review is favorable and she fits in the case comfortably. It is a working progress to make her ready for air travel in May! It seems to be her safe place now:-).
Flew our puppy for the first time ever and it was a seamless process. Roverlund also has the absolute best customer service.
Be sure to take the pocket stiff board out to allow it to fit under the seat!

I love this carrier! I really debated for a while on which one to get since this one was on the pricey side, but it was so worth it! I have the large size for my 14-15 lb dachshund and what i love most about this carrier is how sturdy it is. I didn’t want him to feel like the base is collapsing on him when I carry it. The base is made of 2 plastic and cardboard pieces and the cover has machine washed well. I’ve flown Alaska on an ERJ 175 and Delta on a Boeing 737. It fits super easily on the ERJ 175 but on the 737 I had to remove the piece in the pocket so that the carrier could fit under the seat, even in a window seat. It was also kinda difficult to get the carrier in and out between the seat on that plane- doable for sure but took a minute. It collapses pretty flat for storage too. My one complaint is that the long shoulder strap doesn’t hold the carrier super stable so it turns side to side when I walk. I put the short straps in my elbow or over my shoulder to keep it steady. Also, I bring my checked bag because the carrier is too big to fit on top of my carry-on roller bag. Overall would buy again and recommend to anyone looking for a super sturdy high quality carrier!
Up until having this, the thought of flying with my dog always made me anxious. He would always whine and cry, but we actually had a smooth flight for once with this.
