This rolling wheel base is awesome. Exceeded expectations in design, how easy it is to fold up and store, and how well it rolls. Makes traveling with pets so easy.
This carrier is made of quality materials, is spacious, and great for securing little escape artists like my pup. There is plenty of storage in the front and back pockets and the view panels are fantastic.
I bough This carrier 4 years ago to pick up my boy from out of state for the first time. Since then we have had many adventures, flying all over the country. When I got him he was 4lbs. My boy clocks in at a healthy 25lbs now, and still fits perfectly and the carrier is still going strong. Whenever I bust it out, my guy knows he gets to come and hops right in.
I purchased the previous version in late 2023. It had gone on multiple cross country flights with us. My dog was obsessed with it, too. A few months ago, he scratched a small hole in the door mesh and would stick his nose out. Then later it turned into a slit big enough for him to slip out. When I saw that Roverlund improved the mesh and design I purchased a new one. The carrier is high quality and I love the design. When it arrived, my dog wagged his tail and immediately went inside. He sometimes naps in it during the day. For reference, he’s a 17lb mini schnauzer and the large is perfect for him.
I have tried a few other carriers. Decided on a backpack style with wheels. My 18 lb Cavapoo was like the Tasmanian Devil inside that thing, and it bottomed out when I tried to roll it through the airport. I was skeptical when I purchased the Out of Office Pet Carrier from Roverlund. We put our pup inside. Shoved her head down so we could close it. And to our amazement, she just laid down and actually seemed happy. We carried it around for several minutes and she was absolutely fine. I'm in shock. I highly recommend this product!
I’m really impressed with the quality materials and construction of the carrier. It will undoubtedly hold up for many years.
The Roverlund carrier worked well for my 16 lb pup on Delta airlines. He was comfortable and safe in the carrier.
Solid carrier, extremely functional. We have a 11lb australian labradoodle and selected the large size. This was advertised to fit under the seat on the airplane and it did (you have to remove the plate on one end to be able to stuff it under). Dog fit in there great, slept well and had no issues during a 3hr flight. The pass through allows it to attach to the handle of a standard roller board. Only issue was a mean gate attendant attempting to make me stuff my dog into a sizer to get him on the plane after I paid a $150 pet fee - I guess the bag looked so good she didn’t think it was a pet carrier!
Seems comfortable for my girl. It’s easy to carry and manage. Fits perfectly under seat in airplane.
The travel bag was perfect from my 17.4lb Chi-mix. This was her first time traveling and it was very comfortable for her. Loved the leash which I used when I needed to let her walk around to potty. Not having to carry another thing was great. I am however, sad that the rolling base was not available for me to purchase as a set and hopefully I can get the 20% on that once it becomes available. With that said, the strap attached to the bag which allows for placement of bag on the carry-on was extremely helpful as well as the very sturdy and comforting fur lined base. All in all I give it a 5 star review!
We have two pups: Amadeus, a 19 lb peekapoo mix, and Indie, an 11 lb mini poodle, and for reference, we got the large size carrier.
Amadeus is on the longer side and while it’s a bit snug for him, he’s still able to lie down comfortably (see photo). For Indie, it fits absolutely perfectly. We've been preparing for a trip and using this carrier for training, and we’ve been really impressed.
The structure of the bag is what truly sets it apart, it’s incredibly sturdy and well-built compared to others we’ve tried. The double access via the side and front zippers makes it super convenient, and we love the thoughtful design details.
One of our favorite features is the strap that doubles as a leash. It’s such a smart addition and shows that Roverlund has really considered the needs of pet travelers. Our pups also love the cozy, sherpa-lined bottom, which is detachable and easy to clean.
We got the black and neon color combo and are literally obsessed. It’s stylish, modern, and just so cute. We’re also looking into adding the wheel attachment for extra ease while traveling.
Overall, this carrier has exceeded our expectations, we can’t wait to take it on our next adventure!
These are great carriers. So sturdy but not like old plastic ones. Dog gets lots of ventilation with the mesh fabric. I love the tether inside in case I want to leave top open. Nothing is too good for my pups and this carrier is the best.
We have two cats (12-18 lbs) and we bought one for each of them. The carrier holds them comfortably and they cannot escape. Looks great, is secure, and the two entry-points makes it easy to use. Our vet loves it. Worth the money!
Not only does this look stylish, but we used it on the plane and our dog did great!
This carrier worked great for my 13.5 lb labradoodle. We love the built in leash to attach to her harness. It allowed us to let her head peak out throughout the airport without jumping out. The suite case slip fit perfectly on the handle. And most importantly it fit just right under the seat. She slept in it comfortably the whole slight.
Everything works great. Very sturdy construction. My only complaint would be to have a better selection of colors available. Every one I tried to order in the smaller size was unavailable. Also the leash converted strap on the smaller one could be a bit lighter weight. I bought the carrier to transport a new kitten home on the airplane. That strap weighed more than the kitten and therefore was unusable. Maybe just an option to purchase a lighter strap would be nice.
We absolutely LOVE our new carrier. Would buy again tomorrow!!
Small carrier was luxurious travel for our 5-lb chihuahua. It easily fit under the seat on the plane. We figured out how to use it as a "car seat" in the car. Our dog loves being in this carrier. Only wish it had more pockets or larger pockets.
Glad to know about the side that you can remove as it came in handy on the United flight. Pup was comfortable and it seemed to work well!
